How it works
From "sounds right" to "here's the source"
Paste the draft, get the checkable claims
Deterministic heuristics flag every sentence with a number, a trend, a superlative or a 'studies show' — the statements that embarrass you later. You choose which ones matter; add anything the heuristics missed.
Gather sources you can defend
Search through a pluggable provider or add sources by hand. Every source records publisher, publication date and — crucially — the retrieval date. Paywalled, unavailable and stale sources are labelled, not hidden.
Set stances, not vibes
Each source gets an explicit stance per claim: supports, contradicts, inconclusive — with your note. Verdicts derive from the evidence table, and a claim with no sources stays honestly 'unresolved'. The system cannot manufacture a citation; there is no code path for it.
Review, approve, attach the receipt
A named reviewer finalises each verdict — supported and contradicted require linked evidence. The printable report lists every source with dates, and unresolved claims say 'verify before publishing' in plain words.
